Going away to Orana Wildlife Park

Monday 7th August 2017

Today we went to Orana wildlife park, for a school trip to learn about things about well being.

We got to have lots of fun looking at the animals like tigers, spider monkeys, gibbons, giraffe, white rhinos, and much more animals that made the trip fun.
My favorite animal I saw was a cheetah they are fast and funny, and really relaxed because they are calm all the time, it was really tiring because we had to walk heaps. We got about 2 breaks, for morning tea right when we got there, then later we got another break which was lunch.

We got to look at heaps of attractions for animals, like we got to feed giraffes, see tigers do little roars, but we didn't get to hear his mighty roar. It was fantastic to get an up close picture of the tiger, but we were behind glass, so we don't get eaten by the tiger. It was fun watching the animals run around and play.

I really enjoyed going to Orana Wildlife Park for a school trip and spending time with my friends and seeing the animals with them, and it was fun seeing animals up close and personal but behind glass.

At Orana Park, my learning goal was to learn more about where the animals come from and how we could look after them because some animals are becoming extinct because poachers are killing them.

Is their anything else you would like me to add into this blog post or anything that was good in it?
